Thumbs up Free papermodels to good home

My dad was an avid paper modeler. Sadly, he passed away with several models yet unbuilt. I know he'd hate them to be thrown out, as they are mint and ready to be assembled. These are absolutely free of charge but I'd like you to pay the mailing charge (from Montreal, Canada).
  • St Peter's in Rome (Schreiber-Bogen Kartonmodellbau)
  • San Lorenzo The Escatorial in Madrid (Schreiber-Bogen Kartonmodellbau)
  • Au Printemps Department Store in Paris (L'Instant Durable)
  • Assemblee Nationale in Paris (L'Instant Durable)
  • St Michael's Church in Hamburg (Schreiber-Bogen Kartonmodellbau)
Plus a couple of dozens of sheets of modeling cardboard and the book "Card Modeling: Basic and Advanced Techniques" by Alvar Hansen, published by Schreiber-Bogen Kartonmodellbau.

Hope someone is genuinely interested.

Thanks,

Susan

Susan,

My condolences on your fathers' passing. I have a couple of questions about the models that you are offering.

Are they unbuilt?

Can you estimate the mailing cost to zip code 28803 USA?

If they are unbuilt and the shipping is not to extreme I would like the St Peter's and the Au Printemps.

Thanks,

Curt

BTW, I tried to send you a Private Messsage but it appears that the PM function is not yet available for your account.

Hi Curt,

Thank you for your condolences.

Yes, St-Peter's and Au Printemps are unbuilt. Au Printemps is still in its shrinkwrap.

I don't think it would cost more than $10 to send you the models.

In fact, I could just send you the models on my dime because I don't think it would be very expensive!

If you send me your mailing address, I could put them in the mail this week, as you were the first to express interest.

Cheers,

Susan

Hi Papertrekker,

Thank you for your kind thoughts.

As you are the first to request the book, I will gladly mail it to you this week.

Since you live in Georgia, USA, that's not too far and it's within my budget to mail it to you on my dime.

If you send me your address, I will get it in the mail this week.

Regards,

Susan

Dear Armorman,

I am sorry but I am mailing the book and the department store to the first modelers to express interest.

If you're interested in other models than Au Printemps (department store) and St-Peter's in Rome, they may still be available.

Regards,

Susan

Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. This is a wonderful thing that you are doing. I bet if you check back at this site you will see postings of the built models. Thanks for preserving the memory of your father with you gifts.
