E-Bay Sale

Howdy folks. It has been quiet while since I've posted on here although I have been dropping in occasionally and having a look around. So greetings and salutations to all.

Due to rising medical costs and car issues I am going to be posting models on E-Bay starting this weekend. I will be putting up my entire collection at a rate of 20-30 models per week.
This should go on for some time as my stack of models is about 9 feet high. I have enough digital models that I've bought, to keep me busy for the rest of my life so my physical collection has to go.

I will be selling other things as well like a new PS4 and several games this weekend. I also have a lot of doll house furniture that was made by X-Acto knife company that you assemble and stain yourself.
These kits will go up sometime in January through February as I have a large amount of those as well.
I can be found by searching for "Cardmodelsnmore" or just search for "paper card model".
Happy cutting everyone!

Russell

Sorry to hear that life’s got you in a bind, Russell. I’ll be looking out for your listings on eBay.

Thanks buddy. I have definitely been in worse circumstances so this is just a bump in the road. I still have plenty to build. Right now I'm working on Tow-mater from the Cars movie.

Sorry Dave. I should have elaborated more.
I am preparing my sale pages right now and I will be posting them tomorrow night at 10PM EST for a 7 day sale.
The bidding start price will be low for each item to promote interest and there will be no minimum bid set. I will take what I get.
Thanks for your interest, Dave and I apologize for wasting your time searching.

Your post says models will go up sometime in January or February.
That was clear.

I just assumed you already had an ebay account, since you posted a Seller ID.
I was just looking to check you out as I do with all eBay sellers.
See their rating, their feedback, their Seller's score, and what items they may have for sale.
Thats the reason I went looking early.

I agree with airdave, please post a link when you put them up for sale. Just link to one of the auctions, and we can click from there to your other auctions. I just tried searching "paper card models" on EBay and came up with some interesting auctions. Apparently the term "model" can also refer to pictures of women. Who knew?

You(Knife) probably know this, but for the benefit of others...

when you search for "paper card model"
you are searching for any auction with the words "paper", "card", or "model" in the title.

If the proper options are set, your search will only include items that have all three words in the title.
However the order of the words is not specific, so you may get some weird combinations.

You can help the search by adding +plus signs in between words to guaranty the use of all words in the search
or "quotes" around the search words to guaranty the results focus on the entire set of words in a specific order.

These search methods apply to web searches too. Try them in Google!

Also, results will be shown from any and all ebay categories.
Unless...you go to "advanced search" and refine your search
You can adjust the way it searches for keywords and what categories it looks in.

First thing I do, after I search any keywords, is look to the left and click on the specific category I am interested in.
For example, after searching "paper card model" I clicked on Toys - Hobbies - Model Kits
to narrow the results to something more relavent.

What? You didn't want all this ebay information?
Hey...I'm just filling time until Russell posts his model links in January! lol

I will be putting up paper models starting this Sunday night at 10 PM EST and I will be posting 20 to 30 modelos per week.
With a 9 foot high stack this should go on for a long while.

My wood Dollhouse furniture kits, made by X-Acto knife company, will start sometime in January.

All my paper model posts will start with "Paper Card Model" followed by the make and model name.
I have some big models going up tomorrow night, such as St. Petersdom in Rome and a hard back book of 13 models from ABC. Also another large hardback book of a city and castle.
I will post a link to one of my sales tomorrow night and you can take it from there.

Whew, I hope this clears up any confusion.

Russell
