Zathros,

Yes, from across the room she looks finished, then I get up close and see all the places that are still vacant.

We live about 40 miles from Tucson. Right now the big gem and jewelery show is on.
I can take the 'admiral' so she can look at the goodies and I can find some chain at a good price.

I found when I approached the end I had a lot of parts left over. When I picked up that last part and glued it on is when the big wave of pleasure and accomplishment started for me. Good luck at the show.

Hi to All,

We have survived the big gem shows and found some 1mm chain for the anchor chain. Here are two pictures with the winch and chains in place. All paper pieces left to go are tiny and I'm being slow so it does not look like much progress. I also have found some 0.015" brasswire for the hand rails below the windows. Soldering the rail mounts will be interesting. I will most likely make a jig to hold extra long mounting wires and snip to proper lemgth after soldering.

Your ship is coming along very nicely. I found this interesting link with a most horrifying picture of what seems to have been a fire that took out a large portion of Lilla Weneda's (Juliana"s, not proper to rename a ship) superstructure. Very sad indeed.

tiny & slow

Hello,

Parts are getting fewer and it seems smaller. I took a break from the very tiny to practice rigging on a piano.

Here are the latest pictures.

A Home

Lilla's now has a place to stay! JoAnn's had their cases on sale 40% off, that made it reasonable, ofcourse it is the most expensive part of the display. Some of the itty-bitty stuff can be seen in the picture, still have more to do.
