Hallo again,
strk, moj przyjaciel, where did you make this excellent photograph? In the harbour of Gdansk -or Shanghai ? This one is a (illegal copy of a reengineered sovjet) chinese variant. By the way, the Harpoon looks different and is not interface compatible to this LK90 launcher. Today I will show the result of the next systems : - torpedo launcher (did not find any photographs in the www) - AK630 gatling guns, and - FCS Bass Tilt for the AK630. Build steps are given as usual in the attachment. Regards Klaus |

Wonderful progress and work! You are doing an amazing job on this model, with so many crisp and wonderful details.
Thank you for providing so many wonderfully instructive photos! And thank you for the great video clip, Strk! Just wondering, is it normal and permitted for the ships to blow their stacks in harbor like that? I know if you did that in New York harbor the environmental department of the state if not federal government would impose a very high fine...I was on a ship that blew her stacks at night just before departing and they still caught the violation! Cheers! Jim |

Hallo again,
@Jim, russians don't do that - as you said - its NOT permitted (big smile) @Strk, it's not always a problem with the diesels (this class has 4 off), its sometimes (always) the poor quality of the fuel (which, of course, increases the stealth capability) Today I will start this report with the AK130 twin barrel gun. The dedicated FCS (MR 184) will be treated later. Skeleton parts are stiffened with Bristolpaper, some other with 1mm grey card board. The twin barrels can be moved up/down in elevation. Progress and some build steps are given in the attached pictures. I've also added some details - but have a look and find out. Regards Klaus |

Hallo again,
the first AK130 system is ready for installation. I'm not so happy with the quality of my barrels, maybe I'll do them again - no problem since they are not fixed on the needle(s) with glue. I've added some details I thought that can be made easily. Progress and some build steps are given in the attached pictures. Now the second one is waiting for final assembly (I need a subcontractor) Regards Klaus |
