I know this is bringing up an old thread, but I am curious if anyone knows an alternate place to find this model? I served on board the USS Gettysburg (CG-64), and would love to build one for a display.

Long time ago there was a designer that designed simple paper ships: A Lily of The Valley Studio, in 1/700. He had a Ticonderoga.
You may print it in ledger and it would be around 1/550. If you splice it could be larger.

There is also the option of e-bay, if available.

ps: And there is the curse of the "Dragon" in 1/350

Thanks for the replies. I actually did some deep searching online after I posted that. Couldn't find any actual kits available anymore, but did find a site that had the actual instruction book and all the templates to cut out for the HMV kit. They also had the Lily of the Valley version and a Polish one named GMP. They also had many, many different ones of various current and old kits that have been produced. everything from the complete HMV Bismark kit to the Lily of the Valley Studios drawings.

keep in mind, and we will overlook that you stumbled across a pirate site.

none of the publishing houses, HMV, GPM, and the others do not release their out of print kits in a digital format out of the kindness of their hearts, in this case, these types of kits have been scanned, and then shared on the deep/dark web

if a site like this seems too good to be true, it usually is, and if you have a question about any site and its legitimacy, just send me a pm

The latest newsletter from Scaldis mentioned the Ticonderoga, so you are still likely to obtain it there.

Besides all the usual problems with pirate versions, the original HMV kits have some of the best printing on some of the best paper ever seen in our hobby. So you treat yourself to the real deal!
