I know of a source for 1/200 architectural figures so you could put a tiny Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet on the bow if you wanted to go to the effort...

Then again, it may be that it's just as well that you don't... Heh...

Beautiful build so far, am going to be watching this one with great alacrity!

Nah, no Leo and Kate on my bow! I'll keep the sappy movie elements out of it, including that awful Celine Dion-song.

Here is the start of the bottom plating. The side stiffening plates make them very easy to attach. The plating above the waterline will later be tapered over them.
