hi,

next in line were the funnels. At the front there is a double one with a waist, it seems the French liked this feature . The other one is a normal thing.
Also added were some ventilation houses etc.

Hans, perhaps I missed it in a previous post...

Your railings are beautiful - are those photoetched too, or thread and CA, or something else altogether?

Hi Adam,

the railings are standard photo etched parts from Saemann, a German firm, specialized in photo etching.

Hi,

boats bearings are applied.
Before gluing the aft hut onto the deck, you have to shift the mainmast through the roof from the under side because of it`s conical shape. Then a platform was added.

On top of the base of the mast a platform was attached, then a rangefinder and a range clock on a pedestal. The upper part of the must has to be shaped from templates, will be added later.

Hi,

the tripod mast was erected. I tried to cut the lattice work of the booms but failed, although I had hardened it with acrylate glue. So I had to make a photo etched part. White flashes will be painted.

Hi,

I started with the main artillery. You had to correct the position of the longitudinal frames cause they are visible through the aperture for the barrels. The barrels are ready made and came in a set. The blast bags are made of white glue with a layer of moistened paper tissue.
