Impressive to say the least. I am a Big Fan of this vessel and do hope some day to add to my collection a copy of it. Look forward to more.

The photo is a little blurred, but it is clear enough to tell that you have done an excellent job on the crane.

Let's try this again.....

As I darn near went blind trying to build this crane, the least I can do is post a couple of decent pix! Total time invested (MB411 plus crane: 12 hours. But who's counting?

Beautiful work. I love the French seaplanes and am happy to see one at ANY scale.

37 MM Anti-Aircraft Guns

The 37-mm AA guns have been constructed. Add another 3 hours...

Thank Goodness for the newly-acquired magnifying lamp......
Has anyone noticed some reluctance on the part of The Boyz to start cutting hull formers?

Hello Jim:
It seems no matter how many small guns we build, they are a test every time.
You passed with flying colors. Nice job.

Starting on the Hull

I passed a restful afternoon in my shop, beginning the process of cutting out the hull formers. Only went thru 4 blades. The dull ones will find other uses in the carving world.......

Great job on the 37MM single mounts, those itty bitty parts can make having a magnifying lens of some sort almost a necessity.

Gee, just 4 blades? LOL

Jay: Now up to 6. Although them "virgin" blades are done for linear cutting on 1.0--2.0 mm stock, they can and will be "recycled" many times around here...

Remember, I come from Winnipeg:

WINNIPEG MB CANADA : " CAN I GET IT WHOLESALE?" or " You know that you are from Winnipeg if.....(insert cheapo joke here), and our large Ukrainian population has figured out that by celebrating Christmas 8 days later, they can give lavishly by taking advantage of the post-Xmas sales...

Gotta go...my Dutch Cheesehead is out among the sheep again......
