bomb...

Decided to do a little bit on this today, as it's close to be completed and it would be nice to say I've actually finished something.. Here's the completed explosives container with the line that attaches to the auger screw that was suppose to drill to the bottom of the hull..

Looking really, really great. I wasn't planning on buying this one, but seeing yours come together, I may have to rethink my thinking!

rudder

Added the rudder. As I'm shooting for a working linkage, for a start, at least the rudder is movable..

Rudder..

Different positions...

Also added the lifting rings..

Stand.. painted and weathered with oils.

Great stuff, Peter. Those hinges look really good and the base looks like wood!

Thanks Chris.. I'm getting close to the finish on this. Need the space on the workbench, and I've come close to knocking this over while working on other stuff..

Built and installed the props..

An unrelated subject arrived in the post today.. nice detail.

When you have a great design, it is a lot easier to get good results.
I noticed that detail after I posted the photos.. already fixed..... It's amazing the little things you notice from looking at your work through the photos.

Nice Turtle Now Where's...,

Hi Peter,

The Turtle turned out really nice!

Now it's time to celebrate by going out on the pier and showing it to the same lady you did last time you showed a finished a model....,

I remember the picture of the lady but for some reason my memory of the model is foggy - An Iguana lizard?...,

Tous dans le bon amusement, +Gil
