Wow! Much progress! It's going to be a beauty when translated into real live paper.

Oh good for you, Carl - Victoria is one of my favorite ships, and is also on my ever growing to-do list! Both ships went through a few refits, which might explain the discrepancies you mentioned. Most notably the funnels were raised to improve draft, and also to keep the smoke out of the bridge. Looking at the short stacks you have to wonder what were they thinking?

Cheers,

Oliver

Oliver -- They were porbably thinking the same kind of things that the designers of the early Dreadnought classes were thinking when they placed the forward tripod mast so that the rangefinders would fill up with smoke from the forward funnel. Don

It came from the old Tsushima site when they still had the pictures. It is Patrie and is taken from the port quarter. It is the only decent photo that I had of the ships that clearly shows stern detail. Greg, you are perhaps my best hope here!

Fortunately I had printed out an 8x10" glossy of this but I would still really like the electronic photo so that I can zoom in on details.

Thank you to anybody that can help!

Carl
I think I may have the photo if you still need it, it is 221 kb, would that be about right?
