I agree, this is another of those builds that with looking closely @ the photos, you see this wonderful ship take shape before your eyes. Thanks for sharing this.

Very nice work. One error, though, the kit is published by Orel, not Dom Bumagi.

Oh my! You're right, my mistake. The kit really published by Orel not Dom Bumagi.
When i wrote first post in this thread, had before my eyes "Gremyashiy" which is Razumnyi's sister ship and which was published by Dom Bumagi.

It is nice to see how many interesting models are coming out of the Ukraine. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the Black Sea fleet being done.

When I was very young, I used to always admire the Soviet Union's aircraft and what not. Back in those days it was politically incorrect. Face on them, I was right!! Their stuff was cool looking then and is now!

Your model is coming along very well...thanks for posting these pictures! I, too, love the design of modern Russian warships.

DShK 12.7 heavy machine gun, a little exaggerated:

Made them looking on material from models magazine and on fotos from internet:

The result:

The next step is bombs and torpedos.
