Soviet destroyer "Razumnyi"

Hello!

Not so long ago I had only read this forum, but now i think it's time to share my work.
My current build is soviet destroyer "Razumnyi" ("Reasonable") which was released last year by "Dom Bumagi" (house of paper)
publishing house (Ukraine). Destroyer served in North seas during the WW2, she participated in the meeting and escort of Allied convoys
to soviet union. I start build ship few month ago, it is done a lot, but a lot remains to be done. Also, because english is not my native language
feel free to correct me if i wrote or articulate something wrong, i'm still not strong in english naval terms.

Here we go! The magazine's cover (i especially like two-color camo):

The hull.
When i started to build the hull, i thought it would be easy. And it was in the beginning.
I needed to cut few millimeters from the top of each former, but basically the hull fit nice.

A little test with draft details.

Gluing the deck.

But when i started plating the bottom the things went bad. Somewhere from the middle of the hull plates lay askew,
so i decided to apply a putty and paint the bottom of a hull.

Hello!

The main guns. Did one for test.

My first try of making barrels from toothpick.

Then i went back to hull. Gluing the side plates was the trick, but finally i made it.

Hello!

After gluing side plates on stern section, a problem appeared: a gap between stern and middle plates, and it was about 5mm. Fortunately ships camo allowed to close the gap with piece of white paper, so the problem was solved.

Of course not without all those "oops!"

A little dry fit:

Hi Alexei,

The "Reasonable" looks excellent so far under your guidance. It looks like you had lots of fun with the hull and getting it all straightened out to your satisfaction. Those little main gun mounts took some doing to get done but you did well. Looking forward to more as you go along.

Thank you Alexei! You had to work hard to get that long, thin hull just right, but the result is beautiful.
And the guns are excellent; very clean, very neat. I will be watching carefully as you build this beauty.
