A few details added to the stern deck.

The span between the frames appears to be large enough to allow a thin flight deck to sag in between. So I added a single piece pf heavy card to span this first. You can see that piece adjacent to the model.

I was debating whether to assemble the bow and stern hull plating on the frame work or seperately and then attach. I opted for the latter since there was a good deal of curvature going on in the bow. This allowed me to get a nice clean looking part produced easily and then fix it on as best as possible.

When installing the hull plating, note that there are some areas where the gluing tabs are too large and extend into cut-out areas. You will need to trim these clear. I did this prior to gluing on the piece.

I made a lateral deviation and decided to build the cranes and flight deck masts. The last picture shows the kit parts compared to the "up-graded" ones I made.

The hull side plating is all attached. There are small outrigger type decks mounted along the side of the hull to which I added support gussets underneath. Gives it a nice appearance.
