Some railings. I used some eletric wire to make them. They are far from perfection, but they are good enough. Yes, I could have used some photo etched parts instead, but at the moment I do not swim in the money...

Still working on the main deck...
Now it's nearly completed, but I have still some work to do (20mm guns, search lights). The range finder on top it's too high, two or three millimeters, but I couldn't lowered it. The real trouble, however, will be the wiring. The mast it's not very solid.

Thanks everyone,

After a couple of days spent on designing and building the funnels, I finally completed them. The smoke generator pipes are made out of solder wire, that is very soft to shape and to cut.
Here some pictures before painting.

This is the rear funnel.

It was very tricky to design because the two profiles of it that I got were different, and the pictures were of poor quality or there was a safe boat every time covering the lower part. The rear funnel of the Bande nere was one of the main difference between this ship and her sisters. As normal, I made a stupid mistake, the base should be at least one mm wide and long compared to the funnel. When I redesigned it for the third time I didn't considered the thickness of the paper, but at the time I'm running low on patience, so it would remain like that. On the middle of it should be a ladder. I'm still thinking how to reproduce it (I cannot find nothing suitable at the moment), so I'm opened to advice.

And, yes, don't worry if you see some white space on the ship deck, most of the pieces are not glued on it, just dry test!

Hello Emanuele,
The funnel work looks difficult, but you did a fine job.

Hi Emanuel,

The ship is turning out well. I like the appearance of the solder wire. Is the rest of the wire brass?
