Titanic era tugs 1:200

After finishing my 1:200 Titanic (see here Titanic, from very small to very large..)

I decided to try and make a diorama out of it using some tugs. So the last couple of days I have been busy designing me some 1:200 tugs using old photographs of the tug Husskisson and pictures of the Vulcan as depicted in James Cameronīs ĻTitanicĻ

This is what I have come up with as a design;

Then I had it printed on an professional printer (they had put the three files on one sheet.. if this is possible it gives some more possibility upscaling the small Olympic class ships as well.. );

Then I started building them today, they will be about 14 cmīs long.
As you can see, I am planning on building three of the tugs to be included in the diorama;

You can see a pen to the left to show itīs length.

While designing the model I used the an existing model to base the hull shape upon as an starting point, the rest is designed by me.
Now I hope this will work out nicely..

Jerry

Thanks for the comments allready, I had accidently resized my design image to a to small size to be viewable on the forum, Iīve added a new one, thatīs why my message was edited at 5.19 hrs.

This will be my first designed model So I hope everything will fit nicely and I can finish this topic to the end..

These are excellent!

Your art work looks superb and the work in progress photos indicate that this is going to be a very satisfying project. From your Titanic build, it is clear that you have the skills and knowledge to do a first rate job of it.

My favorite era of merchant shipping is the late 19th and early 20th century, and tugs are wonderful working vessels, so I am inclined to be very interested.
