Interesting comparison pics from the side at first glance i could not see the differences between the two mediums. The difference between the armour belts is the biggest clue so far. You have done a great job on both.

Great job Paper Fan. Those last two shots showing the side-by-side profiles is great. Wonderful job!

I have finally tackled Oklahoma's bridge. I used the paper parts from my old GPM Arizona kit, no longer needed anyway, to make the upper deck of the bridge. The Oklahoma's bridge and gun directors are one level lower than Arizona's but they still share many common features. The first thing I did was trace my OKI deck over the ARI deck, positioned it to build up the wing supports for the range finders. Next are the basic assembly pics of the bridge and finally the two ships side by side. Neither ships superstructure attached at this time. Somehow I lossed the window shield from Arizona so I will fabricate one from the cut out hole from OKI. Both mediums are a treat but there is little doubt paper modeling is more challenging and as a result more personally rewarding.
