Very nice work on all that equipment. Its always a pleasure to see that type of "lattice" work so well.

I'm using the metal photo-etch set; I like the look of them a lot more than the newer lasercut sets.

Lots of building time coming up; Nigeria has closed the borders already in the run-up of the presidential election, curfews will start tonight and we're being sent from the office early because of massive traffic disruptions. Fascinating place.

Well Marco - know the feeling!
But the "enforced" breaks are quite nice too. Do Kindles wok in Nigeria? The 3G? Would be ideal in that type of situation? |

Nah, just have to make do with the wireless connection at home. Sometimes it actually works. Otherwise I use the network at work, which occasionally works too.
Anyway, here are the lifeboats, main mast and anchors:

Hello Marco,
I am enjoying the craftsmanship, and the news reporting from Nigeria. As always, the ship looks terrific. She has quite a variety of colors. Mike |

Excellent detail work on this imposing (and as Mike points out, vari-colored) ship.

Thank you for your comments, and there's more colour coming! Here are the details on the bow, and two navigational buoys.

I have kept myself busy during the lockdown: the ship is finished!

Congratulations Marco!
It's a beauty. There is a lot of fine detail here in a small package. Mike |
