Nice! A lot better that Linberg's old plastic Blue Devil Destroyer, which was of a Fletcher!

Hi !
Lindberg´s plastic model just looks like a Fletcher class destroyer... but is not a good reproduction of the real-life ship . That model looks great ! Saludazos |

Has there been further progress on this excellent build?

Does any one know if Roman intends on just selling printed kits of this or is he going to offer a digital copy. One can always scan the pages if you have to but sometimes I like to have a ready copy in case of screw ups.
Nice clean build by the way |

Hello all,
I am sorry for not posting in a long time. Having had some time to reflect while doing some modeling in plastic and wood I must say that if I could take back my critical comments on this kit I most certainly would. The problems I mentioned in previous notes should not not been a problem for an advanced modeller (which I am not). Instead of working through any difficulties and pushing on with the build I posted a bunch of complaints which were unfair to both the designer and anyone wanting to build the model. My apologies to Roman Detyna at Digital Navy and to you my fellow modellers. I have another project to wrap up and then I am coming back to this build, hopefully, older and wiser. Well one out of two is bad! Thanks, Greg Mintz |

Hello Greg,
is a real pleasure to see you, the forum without your models was a bit 'empty. Do not be too hard on yourself. Criticism of the models are constructive and are very useful to those who want to bring these models that are not perfectly designed. So one knows what they are getting and knows how to prepare suitable countermeasures to that model. I am very curious to see your next project. Welcome back! Marco
