Golden Salmon
In between more advanced kits (at least what passes for advanced for me!) I like to do fun little stuff. I recently picked up a few ABC models, one of which is the tourist submarine, Golden Salmon.
It's just two sheets and mine came with blurry B&W photocopy instructions. It's got a couple of minor misfits, but overall it's a colorful, nice build. The visual diagram is a little vague at a point or two, but overall very straightforward. This is actually my first ship of any real form or detail or formers. I'm hoping to work my way into a few more advanced kits. It's still not finished as it needs railings, something I have never done in anywhere near this small a scale. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do railings? I really need to learn! Chris |

Looks very cool! Railings, eh? Barry had a nice tutorial over on CM.net. I have yet to put it in practice, but I will utilize his method when I need it!

Thanks, Chris. I can't seem to find Barry's tutorial. Any hints as to how to track it down??

Fantastic, Chris! Exactly what I was looking for. Many Thanks! Maybe I can actually finish the model now!
