The aft deck seems a little bare, maybe put some coils of rope/chain there?

That does look near to the plans, yes. However, to create that working boat atmosphere, it could do with (some) details. As it is now, it looks lovely, no question about that!

Hello legion,

If you know me and my style of cardmodeling, then you can be sure - there will be a working atmosphere at the end of the report ...

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried
PS: I hope, my speechless designer agree?

As far as I'm concerned, I just interpret the drawings/photos, it's up to the builder to make it come to life. I look forward to seeing what you can accomplish. I'm very much a literalist when it comes to designing, so there's always room for creative improvement.

Avery, did you have access to any lines for the AC's hull?

Nope-worked from GA plans and photos only. Unfortunately often the case with these more obscure vessels.

Wonderful work, Wilfried! Are those fittings on the flying bridge from the kit or did you make them up yourself? They look great, as does the rest of this build, and I look forward to seeing more.

Cheers!
Jim

All fittings on the flying bridge are desined by Avery; I used an old PA wheel substituting the cardboard one.

So for tonight a worked on the mooring boat, the davits of it; rest of the rails and the bollards.
The tackles are made of PA and cardboard; the guys for the davits I use ceramic wire.
I add a tarpaulin to cover the boat ...
I hope, there's now a little bit more atmosphere like a workin' vessel?!

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried
