I am very interested with your job.

When I was 12, I visited the Richelieu in Brest, a huge ship, she had enormous turrets.

She was demolished a few months later... a sad end.

Hello Barry,

what shall I more admire the details or your stamina for such a project?

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

Those AA pods are really the bomb, Barry. I don't know about the actual colors. If what you show is close enough then leave them. The coloring of the different bits adds a lot of zip to the model.

The model is a masterpiece. If I hadn't given the Golden Bear POTW to the Saracen, I would give it to you for the AA guns in that shot. Wait for a week.

Carl

Thanks all

Whats next good question! I have not got another design anywhere near ready at the moment and I have lost the files I had for Mogador. Maybe I will try an aircraft but I am useless at them one is niggling at me and I might try the fuselage again but it could stop in a second if I get frustrated

I would love to see you finish your Daring class Barry.

I had an enjoyable day at an RAN open day at Garden Island when I was a kid. HMS Duchess had been sent from the RN to replace HMAS Voyager (cut in half by HMAS Melbourne). Duchess is a favourite of mine from that day and I would love to model it. HMAS Vampire is a floating museum exhibit at Darling Harbour.

20 mm

Thanks for stopping bye again

@Mark
After Spruance and Norfolk not in the mood for railings.

My eyes will probably regret this but the looked odd without the shoulder pads and making them in wire was a nightmare so some slightly ragged additions to the 20mm. They look ok away from the camera

Good-looking 20mm guns, Barry!

So, you just have to fabricate four dozen of those beauties?!

Those are tiny neat pieces of work.
By the way: What is (was) Mogador?

Thanks fellas

Mogador was a French Navy destroyer reputedly the fastest in the world she was badly damaged by the British at Mers-el-Kebir and scuttled later in the war.
