These are valuable photos -- it is most helpful to see the steps through which you built the guns and turret. Very fine rolled paper barrels, too!

Very pretty work, I like the turrets, and the paper barrels look fine. I'm sure this will look very nice as an addition to your collection!

The barrels had been rolled around an1,8 mm steel wire.
I continued with the aft superstructure. The conning tower`s shape is not easy to achieve, a rectangle at the base and a circle at top. Platforms and deck houses were added. Railings are standard photo etched parts. The step irons are cut from laser cut ladders. CU Hans Gerd |

You are making fast progress! The complex superstructure is a thing of beauty.

A deck and AA-platforms are added as well as the positions for the fire directors.

Great work, Hans-Gerd. That Measure 32/16D color scheme with the dark blue decks makes for a really beautiful ship.

Nice build. I love this class as you can see from my avatar. You're doing a wonderful job with the fine details.
I plan to watch this build closely as I have this kit in my stash and plan to build it some day soon.

Good avatar photo! Is that the color photo of California bombarding Guam (Navy Photo 80-G-K-1896: http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/i.../k01896a.jpg)?
