Marco, nice job on the Emily. They were massive. Took the opportunity to scuba dive on one in Truk Lagoon in the early 90's.
Your model does it justice.

Hello Jay, the model of the ship I have not looked because I threw myself head down on the model of seaplane that I finally finished.

Joe Thank you very much, but this plane is not very perfect because if known well, the wings are not symmetrical. Unfortunately, the planes are not my forte, I can better with the ships!

jagolden01 lucky you saw a beast like that

Marco

Marco, fantastic build of the Emily. You can double up the 80gsm paper by gluing a backing of the same paper and it becomes 160gsm with increased malleability bec of the glue. I have done the Emily in my Navy planes in 1/200 series and it's very tempting to try it again at 1/400 after seeing your marvellous work.

Disaster, my little daughter, now, has managed to take the kit of the ship and has reduced it in coriander! Unfortunately I might have to suspend this project until it reordering of the GMP.

Bummer Marco! Need to hide those unbuilt kits up higher.

Sorry to hear that. I had to hunt my Answer Models kit down through the forums here since it is no longer made in the 1/200 scale version. Fortunately I was able to find it as well as the Photo Etch sets that went with it thanks to the members generosity on here.

Here I am here, I am finally after a month from order to reach the new package with the kit. I had to remodel because the hull designed for a full hull and these are progress.

It looks very good. Very crisp and precise work on the framework, decks, and the deck houses you have built so far.

Thanks Don, your comments are always targeted. Today I finished the hull and despite everything seems pretty good. I had some problems in the mating face of the stern for the rest all right.
