After a pause caused by some visitors,
I'm on business again. These is the rear bridge completed. The paper beams that hold the front bridge weren't strong enough, and they have the tendency to flex. So I renforced them with a piece taken from the frame of some photoetched parts I got. Finally, after I finished everything, I remembered that I should have put in position the beans that sustain the gun platform. Nothing irremediable, but I had to put the piece up side down |

I don't know why, but the pieces projected with Pepakura didn't fix very well... I probably made a few mistakes somewhere. Nevertheless, I'm building again. The angle of the cimney is not quite right too, I would try to fix it.

Hello Emanuele:
Nice close-up images. The color scheme is going to be great. Mike |

Thank you Michael!
To tell the truth I was expecting much less problems. I really can't figure out where I was wrong... Nothing serious, but I have to fix the pieces every time. |

Thank you Chapuzas!
I'm running up and down the Province doing relieving teaching, spending, by the way, more on fuel than gaining money, so I don't have much time left. Anyway, this is the main bridge nearly completed. I opted for a sharp angle, instead of a petal rounded one, for the part above the windows, because it looked more easy to built. |

While I'm waiting for Christmas dinner, I will post a little update on my Pegaso.
I'm quite happy whit the result because I was worried, when I started this model, on how to recreate the protruding part on the railing. In the meanwhile, Merry Christmas! |

Actually it seems the Upholder (now Victoria) class doesn't need outside help to sink...
Ok none has actually sunk, but they have had their problems.

I was referring to this Upholder:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Upholder_(P37) Unfortunally (for us Italian), she decided to sink only after sinking 120,000t of our ships, one destroyer and a cruiser... It would have been nice (for us), if the U class have had the same problems of the Victoria/Upholder class... |

This is one of the OTO 100/47 mod.35 gun. The shield shape took me a lot of time to design because the drawings weren't very clear.
