With the size and detail, it looks like a large "wood" hull.

I was thinking the same thing, Mike, particularly given the apparent beige color of the parts...a thing of beauty, by my eye!

Cheers!

Jim and Mike i spent a long time while i was building it whether to paint the ship or not as i did like the look of it just out of the manila card that it was printed on. I came to a compromis and have only painted the out side.

thanks Jim and Glen
took bit of finding this thread again!!
well I've been a bit slack in updating this thread I knew somewhere that I had some more pictures of the hull been clad I just had to find them on an old memory card as some had been overridden when the camera numbering reverted back to 0. I'll let the pictures do the talking it did take a bit of fitting and trimming round the stern.

Wow, I Love this Ship, and every time I see one getting built, I want one.
But alas, one must eat!
So I'll just enjoy yours.

I agree with Rick, this is an amazing model build!!

I also wish I had it, but best I didn't as it would have been lost with the rest of my paper kits which were lost in the flooding caused by SANDY.

Cheers!

Thanks, Rick, but, alas, there is nothing to be done about it...life goes on.

Many have suffered far worse than I, so I consider myself fortunate, actually!

Cheers!
