I just came upon this thread. I am glad to see others using the foam technique to prevent, what did he write, "cow's ribs?"

I prefer to cut the foam to size and sand it to shape as opposed to the expanding foam....but, that's just a matter of preference. Obviously, you have this technique well in hand!

From any models that I've watched the building process I think this is the biggest one My hat are off to you sir, but I've been wondering to ask you two question.

1. What kind of paint do you used on the model?
2. Do you spray it from airbrush or manually by hand brush ??

I use Tamiya Black Flat mixed wth Tamiya Black Semi Goss in 1:1 ratio.
I use airbrush
