Well I did hear from another buyer on the Sub. But he was after 1:200 scale. I might attempt this but I'm not sure my fat fingers are up to the task. However wooden nickels don't sound bad.

too bad. I could use the money. I have a pretty good model of the Osablya by Digital Navy I would sell only because I really need the money right now. I would part with her as I can always build another. The rigging is complete with blocks. The rigging is made from very fine copper transformer wire painted black. If this guy ever resurfaces perhaps I could make a deal. By the way it is in 1:200 scale full hull version

i think i would have better luck if i charged a dollar a baseball and let them throw them at my paper models than trying to sell these things.

I did manage to sell a Ford 3-Ton gun carrier model on ebay though I did not get much for it. Went to a model train show over the weekend and saw scratch built models of cranes boats and train set accessories some of which were not on a par with models seen here and they were asking some pretty inflated (IMHO) prices for them.
