R.N. Prestinari

Hi All,
the wonderful of R.N. Prestinari by Marco1971 is now a fixation for me.
So I started my version
Scale reduced by 50 %
some problems cutting the single elements especially little parts
some problems gluing... but this is my real first paper model in my life.
Stay tuned
Comments are welcome
Marco, thank you for your tips
Salvatore

Hello Salvatore, first of all, welcome to the world of 1:400. To be your first model you do, Prestinari was perhaps not the most suitable. I can only wish good luck, you'll need it.

Marco

Hi all,
here some pics of wip on Prestinari. Yes, Marco, I agree with you, this scale is very hard and probably isn't a good choice but until now the look seems good.
Comments are welcome
bye
salvatore
PS Yes, I've done some changes in some parts

Hi all,
I scratchbuilded some parts (main guns, dinghy and some ventilation outlets). Others will be omitted (6 little vetilation outlets). The little crane has been partially scratchbuilded.
doctormax: until these days I build airplanes, tanks, etc. but no ships because too difficult. Now, for the first time the right occasion to build a decent ship... no race.

Hi all,
R.N. Prestinari is completed. Many errors, some parts are omitted, railings were nightmares (4 attempts), others parts (guns) scratchbuilded but all in all for first time in my life I completed a model ship quite good.. so I think
Now stop with military ship. Next work a coastal freight.
Comments and critics are welcome
Salvatore

PS Marco thank you for yours tips

Hello Salvatore. Good job to be your first creation! Do not worry about the errors, with the experience you can do everything, even the railings have difficulty doing that now.

P.S. A note, however, do I have to do. The flag of the Regia ship, however you could put

Marco
