Here are the catapult carts for the Seirans. These have been built from styrene bits and pieces. Sorry, purists.... Scale is 1:200.

Jim[/QUOTE]

No need to apologize. The purists are wrong. Wooden ship models incorporate metal and other components. Plastic kits employ all sorts of materials. Real airplanes made from aluminum incorporate all kinds of materials and the list goes on.

Why, then, should paper models only incorporate paper components? The only reasons would be limited access to those materials and the requisite knowledge/skill to employ them intelligently into a model. And, oh yes, hubris. Obviously, you have both the access and knowledge/skill, and an ego that needs not the fortress of hubris.

Keep up the good work!

I am on a Holy Quest to bring Light to the unenlightened, to give Knowledge to the ignorant, and to Teach those who have yet to learn. Go in Peace and Prosper in Paper. Amen

That would be "wizard!" I love a pint of bitters. Use or abuse my "philosophy" as it suits your desire!

Arrow I-400 Koku Sentai Phase 1

I used the "experimental" Seiran to rig up phase 1 of the I-400's air wing; suspending the Seiran from a piece of 0.010 steel wire set into the forward end of the catapult.......

MTF.

Tax time in Canada too!
