Beautifully done with the Seiran, Jim my friend!
You carried that out very neatly indeed.

The entire Sen-Toku project has really been a joy to see emerge to fruition, and a delight to eye and heart. Excellent work, excellent models.

Kind and Respectful Regards Jim my friend, Uyraell.

Thumbs up Bravo Etsusan!!!

Thanks all.... I still have a few "bells and whistles" to add to this model...
These are mostly accessories such as crew (1:160 Preiser figures= CEGW (Close Enough for Government Work) in 1:200) and a "Folding Seiran" or two. Also, a couple of surprises....
As I finish these, I'll post the results. However, for all intents and purposes, I now have an I-400 in 1:200 scale, and a 1:200 Seiran in flight.... so my build thread on this piece is is over. (TBTG)

At this point, I needs must praise the designer, Etsu-san. Thank you for modeling the I-400!! You certainly did your homework! (Research)

Etsusan: I sincerely praise you as a talented designer! Your 1:400 model upscaled and fit beautifully together, even at 2X scale.( 1:200)

I hope that Halinski, Modelik, etc seek out your talent! I'm glad that I bought this model from you!

Sincerely,
Your Canadian friend,
Jim

I-400 Bells and Whistles 3

Non-Prototypical, but fun:

---2 "Kaiten" manned torpedoes, intended for later versions of this class

---"Ohka" Model 43, a turbojet-powered naval version of the "Ohka" piloted bomb, under development but never actually deployed (rescale of Nobi's 1:48 free model)

All of those are incredibly good to see, Jim my friend!
I like them very very much.

Never before have I seen an Okha 43 in miniature, and the Kaiten are also rather rare.
I enjoy them immensely!

Of equal enjoyment, and great admiration for the skill you show in depicting it, is the Seiran launch, which again I have never before seen.

Kind and Respectful Regards Jim My Friend, Uyraell.
