Fine work,excellent display.
You have a point about the perfection trip. It is certainly the way the whole thing comes together in the end. As evidenced by your magnificent triumph!

Thanks Peter. I do make a lot of parts over and over. but at some point I quit and move on. The guns were built no less than three times before I was happy with them...

Here is a video of the real snorkel and then the models snorkel. Koolik did a great job on this detail and I made sure mine worked, Even though it is a static model.

Hey I put mine aside also, but got tired of looking at it sitting there on my bench and when I started again it was like an old friend I had not seen in a long time. I forgot about all the bad things and it was a nice reunion...

Why I use Zip Dry

Thought I would post some pics of some of the build parts. I always take photos of the builds but don't always make build threads.

Anyway here are some shots of why you should use Zip Dry. It dries really fast and holds very well. The real trick is that it rubs off of the finished ink without leaving a trace. This is true even if you smear it while it is wet. I use this when I am putting on skins with tight joints.

Lots of glue all over the place.

Same piece after the excess glue removed by rubbing

Anyway I think this is interesting glue. Thought I would share. It will save you many hours of cursing and reprinting.
