Since I have the advantage of knowing next to nothing about beauties such as this, could I just say that it evokes strong feelings of the classic 'Bounty'?

Thanks Fred you need to speak up sooner(ha) well, building models is a learning process always..
Leif your observation is accurate as the vintage of the rigging and size of the vessels is quite similar. The hulls differ and the Bounty less armed but the vintage of the rigging is close, with Cleo from 1770's and Bounty fitted out in 1780's. This was about the time that coppering hulls came about, but Cleo was earlier a bit. I think it would be cool to make a card ship with a coppered hull....

Thank you very much Wilfried you are welcome to pop in anytime of course. Here is the main euphroe up with crowsfeet have to put a few little blocks in the rigging for the halyard and lifts for the main topsail then will feel definate forward progress, have to look in Lee's where these lines belay to yet so tying on temp.
