Some work on old model

Have looked into improving the rigging on Cleo, sadly the first attemp ended in a fail, but after repair have added the foremast euphroe and lifts for the foretop yard. It is nice to add a few things, and the euphroe is cool looking although not that improtant in fuction compared to most rigging

Gee Glen I just can't imagine that anything went wrong with your first rigging improv attempt. I mean with so few lines and such a simple configuration,.......LOL!

Really I think I'll stick to biplanes. The Jenny was about as complicated as I'm willing to go.

I'm glad I don't know much about rigging. That looks excellent to me.

Thanks Curt and Vermin King...If I told you what happened you'd laugh, clearly not the way to defuzz lines.... oh well, little worse for it, in fact have improved the lines so much that am about to commit to the ratlines at least for the foremast. I think I'll tie the ends and glue where they cross each stay. It would be nice to catch up to where I am on the Tuft so can feel more completed with this model, too.

Now it's time to build a Lexan case! Keeps the fuzzies away!

Now you did it...now you're gonna have to rig the Main Mast top with the same euphroe and crows feet...and if you start putting in the ratlin's, well then you might as well forget doing anything else for the next few weeks.

Seriously, this is all very well done and well worth the time and effort, I think, all of which complements your excellent build of this ship. Great to revisit this beautiful lady, mate...truly a brilliant build!

Cheers!
Jim

Hello Glen:
I remember this one. Sure is a pleasure to get a look at it again.
Everything looks terrific. I am struck by the rigging and the color.

Glen -

Needless to say, I am glad to see Cleopatter in for refit and repair.

She sure looks good!

Thanks friends for your kind comments, I knew Jim wanted to see what was up with this model, have now made the next euphroe for the main, but need to do some basic rigging on the main yet...
Z- I used poor qulity line out of ignorance for what makes a quality line which is why it fuzzed..now I use "Coats and Clarks" thread or uphulstery lines which seem better and don't fray so easily. Cleo has a case, but will make one for the Tuft yet
Jim, Mike, Don thanks for the kind words, will hope to do a bit more on the old gal
