That's good! Means it actually remind you of a lobster boat..., This is a good thing.

It's real. It may be resurrected as a "Peter Pan" "Neverland Clipper" flying boat fantasy...,

I've been working on the hull planking construction method. Probably have something in a few days.

Just wanted to check in to say that I'm still interested and following the thread. Gil, The pics I provided are large and downsized for the forum. If there is a pic that would be of actual use in your developing I would be glad to send it, also wanted to call your attention to this book,

Amazon.com: Boatbuilding Down East: How Lobsterboats Are Built (9780937822739): Royal Lowell: Books#_

and this

BARNES & NOBLE | Model Boat Building: The Lobster Boat by Steve Rogers, Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. | Paperback

Not sure how much you want to put into this but these have caught my eye. John

Hi John,

I have the Rogers' book and have the "How Lobsterboats Are Built" book on order. Never enough source material...,

I'll look over the photos once again for detail and I'll let you know if there's any need for a higher resolution source. I have picked up on the need for "ice boards" on the bow section. You've got to be crazy to work lobster pots with ice on the water - guess jobs in Maine are really scarce...,

Size

Thinking of sizing the model at a scale of 1:32 - yields a length of around 13.5 inches...,

1:32'ish sounds great. Manageable size and allows fine and delicate detailing. Good to see that you are still working on her. Workboats are dear to me and I would love to build a decent lobster boat someday.

Gil, from you 'other diversion' thread, did you publish your 'super paste' mentioned therein?
