It seems this kit by HMV has been discontinued. It figures, as it's just what I'm looking to build. Anyone have a source for this kit or where plans might be availible?

Thanks, PaperModels is out of stock. Jan, a European site says December 2008, so we'll see. Love the look of this ship - I'm a sucker for Victorian warships.

I built this several years ago, well, and a few years ago. I did about half and set it aside for a couple years and finished it. I really should do it again since I was very much just getting my legs under me with coming back into building. I think that I could do much better now. Maybe I'll post a shot for you to laugh at.

The kit is hand drawn and in some respects can seem a little clunky. But it gives a very fine result. It seems to me that the area around the front turret and the bridge and superstructure took some effort but it could just be the fog of time drifting through my head.
