HMV Container ship Conti Belgica 1:250

Hello!!
I began about ten days ago a new project, the HMV Conti Belgica.
This kit is made of 10 A4 sheets and the finished ship is about 40 cm long; I have also bought the optional lasercut parts.

Before starting the superstructure, I have built the bollards and the staircases;
at the same time I have also assembled a couple of winches and I have prepared the railings.

A most interesting-looking ship. You have made a lot of progress in ten days, Tommaso.

And then it's time for the superstructures: the first three levels, with railings and stairs, are ready and the current status is shown in these pictures.

Cheers
Tommaso

!

Really nice looking build, Tommasso!

I love the way the HMV kits have the laser cut details available as an accessory to their kits...really adds a lot to the build, and cuts down on the scratch built parts to accomplish the same amount of detail.

BTW, I wonder how this kit measures up to the Wilhelmshaven version?

Looking forward to seeing more on this build...thanks for sharing photos of your work with us!

Cheers!
Jim
