Titanic Advice.
Group;
Working on a couple of models right now, but the wife picked up a Titanic model for me at Barns & Nobile Book Store. It is a very nice print out, great instructions. Comes with a booklit on the history of the ship. It also comes with some thick plastic railings, props and davits. The model is just over two feet long. I need advice on upgrading this kit with a PE set or just railings that would fit. What would be a good PE set or railing size that would look good? Any advice would be great. Sam

I did some research and plugged the numbers into a scale calculator and came up with 1/400 or 450 scale for the paper model. Any leads on some type of PE that could work for this model? Any help would be great. Sam

Title
Hi Sammuel. I got a few B&N gift cards for Xmas and was wondering what the title of the book is. This sounds like a fine way to use them!

I have attached a photo of the box and art. What do you guys think, 1/400,450,500 for PE? Its just over two feet long. I plugged the numbers in an it comes out to about 1/400,450. Any advise would be great. Sam

The kit is 25.5 inches long. No life boats or 3d deck fetures such as ballard, cleats, ladders. All of the gear is printed on. Nice looking kit and plenty of schratch building to bring it up to a nice kit. I will post more photos of the kit in the morning. I will be starting her in about two months. Other projects on the bench and that will give me plenty of time to research what type of PE and scratch building I will need to do. Any advice will be great. Sam M

Any news on your Titanic, Sammuel? That kit is very interesting indeed, regardless the missing items.
