Thumbs up Oceanliner MS Oranje 1:250

Hello shiplovers.
As a little boy,i was 12 years old i build my first paper ship from VERITAS Bouwplaten. In that time it was a wellknowing name in paper models.
And that ship was the "MS Oranje". I still have the original version of Veritas kit in my collection. But you understand this is a collectors item.
And now, 52 years later i want to try the new reproduction of this ship.
This kit is comming from Scaldis Cardboard Modelclub in Holland.(Owner is Wim Vermeer)The scale is 1:250 and that's make a model of about 84 cm long.
To build this ship needs some experience in this hobby.
The result you can see in the follow pictures.
Enjoy.

WOW Tony,
A wonderful looking ship.
I can't imagine what it took for you to build such a
beautiful model.
I think it would drive me nuts to work on all those parts.
I applaud your abilities to do these detailed builds.
I have an idea for you too.
Can you take your Veritas model and scan it to make a copy
that you can print out from to build?
That way you can save the original for your collection.
Or take it to a print shop to be copied.
Just a thought.
Best Regards,
Gary

@Gary

Hi Gary. Maybe i want to do that some day.
But first i start with a new project.
Sometimes, after i finished with a model, its not so easy to choose a model to build.
But i choose for the MS Windsor Castle from Scaldis in scale 1:400.

@thanks every one for the nice compliments

Very well built "Kapal Boenting" (=pregnant ship, nickname). The cause of the nickname one can find here: C. Douwesweg 1923 | NDSM-Werf Museum
