JA Golden's CSS David

For a change of pace I thought I'd try JA Golden's torpedo boat from the Civil War era. If I had built the model in the intended scale I wouldn't have had to build it twice to get it right. It was not with out it's problem's because of the reduced size but it was well worth it. Thanks to Mr Golden for providing such a unique model. John

Holy Cow! That's insane! Do you have a fleet of lilliputian ships? I can't even imagine trying to build something that small. You did such a good job of it, too!

Thanks chapuzas, Lepercan and Charles. No I don't have a fleet, just a hand full right now. John

Thanks Jim. I don't know where you can find a copy of this model, Mr Golden's web page seems to be down. John

Thanks, John;

I might have this one stowed on an external hard drive, I'll have to check. I tried finding the download site as well but the page is no longer active, from what I can tell. Maybe Mr. Golden might check in on this thread and let us know what is up, hopefully. It's an incredible model and you did a great job with it at that size!

Cheers!
Jim
