Titanic 1/350 from Fly Model 1/200 Kit

I have reduced the 1/200 Fly Model Titanic kit 57.13% to construct a 1/350 scale model of the Titanic to celebrate the 100th anniversary of her tragic sinking....shown are some pictures of my construction....I have not built anything for some time now....so this project was a large jump of faith...had a lot of trouble with skinning the...as you all might expect...but doing this has been a lot of fun....between watching "March Madness"...Kentucky plays tonight...should be a good game with Indiana!

I have been looking for this model for a while but can not find a site that sells it any suggestions? I have been a Titanic buff since the age of seven. Looks great. Thanks

What a nice build of an important subject. One of the things i like about modeling is that i get lost in the history of a ship.. plane car. .ect.... Its not just making a model to me.. its about learning something or even reliving an event. My models are not always very "pretty" when completed.. old age and failing eye sight i suspect, but i still love the times i get involved in the history of any given subject.. kinda like going back in time.

Im sure that sounded dumb... its just me im sure... and as always you guys and girls boost my motivation to never quit and to keep learning.. not just about modeling but history and life in general. So many talented people here makes this site my favorite.

Looking forward to seeing this build finished....Very fine work.

Gregg
