I like the bowsprit with the chains.
Very authentic.

Thanks Mike for your support on this project, it is neat to see what a small bit of rigging can do

With figurehead and dolphinstriker, the latter was of the swinging type likely, as Davis reports this type began to be the norm on American ships around 1820, of note is the perpendicular bowsprit cap to waterline, this was not typical for British or Australian vessels of the time. My reference books otherwise have the bowsprit cap perpendicular to the bowsprit.

Rigging to the jib boom I think is reasonably close for the times (1830), more to do yet but will start up on masts pretty soon, buying some blocks and have to decide whether to make my own deadeyes, tedious though but can make them the way you like...after Cleo I swore to buy them next time..

Outstanding rigging.. Looks realistic, and very much in scale.

Thanks Don, Peter and Oleg for you comments! This is a pretty ship to model, I'm questioning some of my early decisions on gun ports, but my guess Is probably fair as based on some known facts, but I think would have gone with the plan from Chapelle on the ports probably if had a mulligan.
