After getting some string to use, and flattening some chainplates, have fitted the lower foremast deadeyes and have to put up forestay to put the shrouds over maybe will use the cardboard jig idea for deadeye alignment as did with the Cleopatra I think.

Looks good with the mast and rigging Glen.
My guess: This one will have two main masts?

Hi Mike, this (shudder) is a 3 masted square rigged ship...however some time off the project has given me some clarity regarding the rigging. I'm still learning but it remains fun to see the changes in rigging that occurred in the last 2 centuries of the sailing ship.

Thank you sailing vessels have been modeled for so long that some standard items need to be included...trying to hit those things.

Well I am finally doing some rigging. Here are the fore shrouds, lined them up with cardboard, did them in two's alternate sides, then the shroud gangs hanging loose, and later tied up with lanyards.

Very good to see you having reached this stage. Quite big, isn't she, compared to the sofa table and the furniture in the background?
