Deepsea Challenger

This my first ship model in while (the LCAC back in '09 I think was my last), An area I've always been interested in is research submersibles, a subject that is rather underrepresented in model building. That's one of the reasons the Paper-replika Deepsea Challenger kit piqued my interest. The other is that it's just so unusual looking.

Looks cool; great work. And I agree with you in that I'd like to see some submersibles. I've always wanted to model Alvin.

Deepsea Challenger (DCv-1)is an extremely futuristic looking submarine that looks like it would be more at home in space then the ocean. I wonder if there is any chance some would make and put up the Trieste for download. Would they look great side by side? They would make for a interesting conversation statement on the coffee table I think.
