Hello after 2,5 year break from Kamikawa.

During this time a ship almost was scrapped due to an accident which happened to it. But I was persistent to continue the build. Today, I present you the hull plating.

Regards,
Kuba

I just can imagine how hard is to start again or repair model after so much work was put in it. Well done.

The hull was about to be painted. Every detail was on it. And I have to start all over again. That is why it took me 2,5 year. I have to do other things after the accident to rest from this model. Now, I am ready to push the build forward. But still, I have not reached the level the model had before it was damaged.

Hello Kuba,
I admire your hull plating technique.
This is going to look good.

Hi,

I present you my recent work on Kamikawa. I covered the hull with a background paint.

Mostly, I was working on strengthening the hull from the inside and correcting the shape of the sides which I tried to make as smooth as possible.

Regards,
Kuba

Do you try to recreate steel sheet layout on hull?
If yes - looks really good.

Sharunas - I did the plating. After finishing my Isuzu (where I used this technique for the first time) I will use this technique in all of my bigger models.
