Hello!
Good luck Joerg! It will be big model even in 1:400 scale.
legion: fact that the red looks very monotonously, but at the beginning her career as a Seawise Giant looked very nice with black sides and green decks:
Seawise Giant - ( Biggest Ship Ever, After Reconstruction )

Best regards.

Imho, the red/black/green paintscheme looks so much better.

Herr Shulz.,

Thank you for your excellent pics and website! I have just ordered the model and waiting arrival with the additional laser cuts. Please update us on your progress. I have a certain fascination of this particular ship but my experience in modelling is always highly detailed scratch builds using wood and poly. I do have the vision of using a wood base for the hull (maybe beyond waterline). For a pure card modeling site, my suggestion using other materials might get me ousted from this site altogether!! How do you feel about that idea?

Hi Friends,

2 meters per pixel

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see a comparison with the KNOCK NEVIS, Ex JAHR VIKING.
