Hello. It looks like you are building Mr Currells Titanic design.. this is originally a waterline model, i can see that you have extended the hull sides, are you trying to make her have a full hull with the bottom of the ship {with props etc} ? You should be able to take the original shape of the rudder and scoop it outwards and round towards the rear seam of the hull when it's closed up.
