Great work, Marco. That is another great this about this hobby....modify as needed to make it work is okay.

Jeff You are absolutely right, and here are my home-made photo-etched parts. These railings are made entirely of paper and the result seems quite equal to what would be obtained using photo-etched parts.

Great work on the "photo etched" paper railings, Marco.
Looks like a variation on what I think of as the David Hathaway system, using thin paper strips instead of thread for the stanchions and railings. Don |

Those are great, Marco. I, too, have seen the ones done with thread, but not paper. How did you cut them so thin? Did you put two blades in your cutter to cut the strips?

Don yes I using thin paper strips for this model because the railings are too many folds and the paper is much better than the cotton thread to fold.
Jeff I put two blades in my cutter to cut the strips and exactly two blades 11, because the blades olfa, which I normally use, I gave a result more often thick. and now a small advancement with the first superstructure. Even the small scale is made of paper always with the same method used for the railings. Marco

Thank you Mike, I learned a lot from your buildings!
And now a new update with a funnel, a skylight, and details of the aft deck. Marco

Hello Don is always a pleasure to have comments like yours!
Hello Jeff, thanks. The beauty of this scale is to try to go up to find new ways to make the details more realistically. I started building the first air vents, which is struggling to make five I took almost an hour but the result repays the effort :thumb: Marco
