I like the smaller ships.

The vessels resemble the SMS Novara ship class

Well,

More than Novara I would said the russian torpedo boat Novik (especially if confronted with the Insidioso class, the original Tre Pipe) but I think that all the destroyer of the time followed the same path (see also the V108 Digitalnavy, with a very similar hull).

For Salpao, I normally use GIMP, that is free, but I also used Photoshop sometime, even if I prefer the first because I know it better

Those guns look very nice.
One can see you did some fine cutting with those tiny round parts.
