All my modifications are based mostly on pictures of USS Saratoga CVA 60/ also supported with pics of USS FORRESTAL CVA 59.Basically all needed materials are widely available on the Internet.

Hello Marlon,

What a massive project. The ship has really nice details. Your modified crane is looking good. Great work and it is always nice to do some scratch.

Ciao Andrew

thx.Another "little" modification i did to board sides bridges/gangways
I added extra handrail on the top of the railingBy doing this i have reinforced the railing and made it look more realTo do it i used cardboard 1.0 mm thick cut into long narrow strips about 1.5 mm

Hangar deck

hi,at this time i will show how i sorted out a hangar deck, again had to do everything from scratchi did`t decide to do a full hangar cos It could unnecessarily prolong the construction of the ship at the stage i was.The hull already was built and i could do more damage than good..So i decided to cut out little section of frames in places where are located gates to the hangars
and then in place of the cut frames i inserted a small boxes imitating hangars..)pics below will guide you through the build progress

thx.
