Nah, for that I'd need my late grandfathers boat, the HrMs Evertsen (Exeter class, no model exists, save for the Gremir one).

Legion, ask TA models to develop one for YouAnyway further on with the build. The aerial masts in the kit are old fashioned ,flat and no detail,so I build new one's from leftover LC cut railings,it's not that hard and the result is much better. Now for the sea building, made a mold from underneath both ships, put that on a piece of ply and stated moulding the sea from childrens air drying clay(DAS clay).Look at pictures from both ships to see how they behave in the water and try to copy that, especially bow and stern waves. The bruising screw water at the stern is made by just pushing a piece of 140 grade sanding paper in the clay. After the clay has dried(24 hours)paint thee surface with acrylic paint in mixed colors, blue, green and brown, some spots brighter by adding a litle bit of white. After drying a heavy coat off clear boat varnish and when the varnish has dried give the bow and sternwave's and the wavetops a touch off matt white acrylic paint.Pictures off the complete diorama tomorrow.
Regards Jos

This is an excellent group of images.
I particularly like #0181, with the helicopter hovering above. Very convincing!
The surface of the water below is even modeled to simulate the downdraft.
Looking forward to your next project.
